ANTI-ADHESIVE EFFECTS the virulence of most pathogenic microorganisms, e.g., Campylobacter jejuni, Escherichia coli, Vibrio cholera, and Shigella and Salmonella strains, often depends on their ability to adhere to the host’s epithelial surface.
